LaGrange Youth Baseball & Softball
Welcome to the main site for LaGrange Youth Baseball & Softball. We are a Little League charter organization with more than 700 players including a division for developmental and physical challenged special needs children from the Town of LaGrange in Dutchess County, New York. The volunteer members of the board are committed to providing an enthusiastic and instructional environment for our players and their families. There are a number of events planned throughout the year. Please visit the site often for upcoming activities and important information about the league.
The Board of Directors are committed to making the most out of the Little League experience for both players and their family members. We have worked hard over the last several years to make an unprecedented number of improvements to the park and facilities that are used by league and its players. The list below is just a few of the many improvements the Board is proud to have completed.
LEAGUE IMPROVEMENTS YOU’LL NOTICE THIS SEASON New Equipment • The three new scoreboards were installed on Field Three, McCluskey, and Lynn Bennett.
• The new equipment shed was added behind Lynn Bennett.
Field Repairs & Expansion • Stringham Field converted to a flexible Majors/Jr–Sr field to increase weekday availability
• Lions Field undergoing resurfacing & leveling to improve drainage
• McCluskey Field professionally repaired and resurfaced for better wet-weather recovery
• Stone bedding installed around dugout entrances to reduce puddling and erosion
• MacGhee Field undergoing restoration to increase lower-level divisions’ play
